Ex Diris Exotic Catalyst

The catalyst unlocks the Berserk Rush perk: the weapon enrages faster while you are amplified, and its final blows make you amplified. Amplified and enraged feed each other, so the launcher stays in its fast-firing state longer.

On Ex Diris, Corrupted Nucleosynthesis works like this: the launcher enrages when it deals or takes sustained damage, firing faster while enraged. On top of that sit its weapon perks. Loyal Moths: final blows and rapid direct hits create a loyal moth that seeks nearby targets, detonates, and damages and blinds them. The other fixed perks on the weapon are Volatile Launch, Nucleosynthetic Magazine and Hand-Laid Stock.

Today the catalyst is a Banshee-44 quest called Grenade Logic. The opening step asks for recreating the catalyst by defeating many targets in quick succession and defeating targets without dying. Then comes the calibration, defeating targets with Ex Diris through Ops activities, where Crucible wins count for more, and a final stop at Banshee-44 completes it. The catalyst record counts 400 targets defeated with Ex Diris. Progress shows on the catalyst's record in the Exotic Catalysts section of the Triumphs screen.

• Ex Diris catalyst, unlocked and delivered to your account, without the masterwork step.
• Extras on the order form: Catalyst Masterwork and Self-play (Sherpa).

• Ex Diris already unlocked on the account, because the catalyst is slotted into that launcher.

Is the masterwork part of the lot?

The catalyst is ordered on its own. The masterwork step is the extra named Catalyst Masterwork, so tick it if the catalyst should be masterworked as well.

How does Corrupted Nucleosynthesis work on Ex Diris?

The launcher enrages when it deals or takes sustained damage, firing faster while enraged.

Where do I get Ex Diris itself?

Ex Diris is sold in the Exotic Archive at the Monument to Lost Lights, for an Exotic Cipher and Glimmer. Buying it needs Lightfall. The catalyst fits that weapon alone.
