How the rifle works

The intrinsic trait, Cranial Spike, rewards chained precision hits with better target acquisition, longer range, extra rounds reloaded and more damage against combatants.

Unlike most Exotics it has random perk columns for barrel, magazine, trait and stock, so the roll can differ between copies. The trait pool includes Outlaw, Fourth Time's the Charm, Compulsive Reloader, Killing Wind, Moving Target, Vorpal Weapon, Rapid Hit and Shoot to Loot.

Presage and the catalyst

Presage is on the list of exotic missions available now, and the game data names the Presage exotic quest as this weapon's source.

The catalyst adds Dark-Forged Trigger, which removes hipfire accuracy penalties and raises rate of fire, with extra damage when hipfiring at maximum stacks of Cranial Spike. The lot offers it as an Additional Option.
