Judgment and Penance

Sustained damage with the Trace Rifle envelops the target in a field. The intrinsic trait, Judgment, uses that field to weaken the enemy and stun it, and the weapon is strong against Overload Champions.

Penance is the exotic frame: a target that stays under Judgment for long enough takes a burst of damage on top of the beam.

The Garden of Salvation quest

The source line is an Exotic quest, and the lot lets you pick its steps: 3 Vex Cores Analyzed, Core Empowered, 120 Vex Killed and Puzzle Completed. Raid Exotics are sometimes earned through a multistep quest.

The Divinity catalyst adds Jolting Feedback and Focused Fury. Divinity is one of the Shadowkeep Pack Exotics, and the Garden of Salvation raid is part of the same pack.

The beam works well when it stays on a single target, because Judgment builds up on whatever it keeps hitting.
