One Thousand Voices

Ahamkara's Eye is the intrinsic trait: charging the weapon unleashes a giant continuous beam. Unforeseen Repercussions makes that beam superheat its targets, so scorching explosions follow a moment later.

It sits in the Power slot and uses Heavy ammo. The parts are an Extended Barrel, Liquid Coils for higher damage and a Fitted Stock for stability.

The source is the Last Wish raid, which comes with the Forsaken Pack. The game also has a triumph that raises the weapon's initial drop chance, and the lot lets you add the catalyst with or without its masterwork.

The Monument of Triumph update gave the weapon a catalyst with Fall from Grace: the weapon becomes partially Taken, and detonations release Taken energy that seeks nearby targets and Blights them.

Heavy ammo for the beam arrives through the ammo generation bar that the current ammo system uses, so planning your damage window around it helps.

• One Thousand Voices (Exotic Fusion Rifle) added to your account.
• Catalyst: None; Add Catalyst; Add Catalyst + Masterwork. Extras: Self-play (Sherpa).

• The Last Wish raid open on the account (it comes with the Forsaken Pack).

What does the beam need to charge?

You hold the trigger to charge, and the weapon then fires its continuous beam of Solar damage.

Is the catalyst part of the base weapon?

No, it is an upgrade added separately, which is why the lot has catalyst options.
