How Edge of Action plays

A Glaive charges as you land melee and projectile damage. The intrinsic trait, Edge of Action, lets a fully charged weapon fire a special projectile, and projectile final blows create a volatile detonation and grant Volatile Rounds.

Its exotic frame, Remote Shield, uses the same charge differently: consume it before firing and your next shot plants a protective shield where it lands. Passing through that shield gives a Void overshield and improves weapon damage and reload speed.

Evidence Board and Wellspring

The game data names The Evidence Board Exotic quest as the source. The Witch Queen records say the first Exotic Glaive is unlocked through the Report: REVERSE-LURE quest, and the others can come from The Wellspring activity, which is a current Throne World activity.

The catalyst adds Repulsor Brace, an overshield for defeating a Void-debuffed target.

Edge of Action FAQ

Where does the quest start?

At the Evidence Board in the Enclave, as the quest step text in the game data says.

What does Remote Shield change about a shot?

It trades the stored charge for a shield deployed on impact, which grants a Void overshield and weapon buffs when you pass through it.
