Enhancement Prisms are the rarest enhancing material in Destiny 2, and they are needed in the final steps when you masterwork gear. The item text in the game says they come from challenging activities or can be bought from the Cryptarch in the Tower, and Bungie's material guide adds reward tracks and endgame activities. The game holds at most 200 Prisms. This lot farms the number of Prisms you set on your account.

Key facts

What it is	The rarest enhancing material, needed in the final steps of masterworking gear
Where it comes from	Reward tracks, endgame activities, or the Cryptarch in the Tower
In-game description	Required for forging Masterwork gear; obtained from challenging activities or bought from the Cryptarch in the Tower
Inventory cap	200 Enhancement Prisms
Other masterwork materials	Enhancement Cores (Legendary material, cap 9,999) and Ascendant Shards (Exotic material, cap 50)

What the options cover

Prisms: a slider from 1 to 100 Enhancement Prisms in one order.
Add 5 Ascendant Shards: five Ascendant Shards on top, the Exotic-grade masterwork material, which the game caps at 50.

A booster usually starts within about 1 hour. The finish time is flexible and grows with the number of Prisms on the slider.

Prisms among the masterwork materials

Three materials share the job of forging Masterwork gear. Enhancement Cores, a Legendary material, stack up to 9,999. Prisms are the one Bungie calls the rarest enhancing material, used in the final steps. Ascendant Shards are listed as an Exotic material and stack to 50. Prisms and Shards carry the same item text: required for Masterwork gear, earned in challenging activities or bought from the Cryptarch. The Chronolog Exchange at the Monument to Seasons Past lists Prisms, Ascendant Shards and Ascendant Alloy as well. Legendary Shards and planetary materials, which older guides still mention, were deprecated and are no longer needed for infusion.

Requirements

A Destiny 2 account; the service has no other requirement.
Room under the cap: the Prisms you already hold plus the order should stay within 200, and Shards within 50.

Enhancement Prisms FAQ

Why does the slider stop at 100?

That is the size of one order. The game itself stops a stack of Prisms at 200, so two full orders on an empty inventory reach the cap.

Are Prisms the same as Ascendant Alloy?

No. Alloy is a separate Exotic material used in weapon shaping to enhance traits and raise weapon tiers, while Prisms go into masterworking.
