Ascendant Shards Farming

Update 9.7.0 set the stack limit for Ascendant Shard at 50, so a single account can hold at most that many at a time.

The Chronolog Exchange at the Monument to Seasons Past sells one Ascendant Shard a week for 300 Chronologs, which sets a ceiling on how fast Shards arrive through that route.

The Forsaken Ciphers in the Exotic Archive can be turned in for an Ascendant Shard once every Forsaken Exotic weapon has been purchased.

The weekly exchange is capped at one Shard, so the lot is meant for accounts that want more than that route supplies.

The same exchange sells Enhancement Prisms for 50 Chronologs, up to ten a week, Ascendant Alloy for 200 once a week, the Deepsight Harmonizer for 300 once every two weeks, an Exotic Cipher for 500 once a week and an Exotic Engram for 300 once a week.

The Enhancement Prism is the rarest enhancing material and is required in the final steps of Masterworking gear. Prisms can also be bought from the Cryptarch in the Tower, and the Shard's item description says it can be bought there too.

In the game's item data the Ascendant Shard is an Exotic-tier material, the same tier as Ascendant Alloy.

• Amount Of Shards: choose the quantity.
