Gjallarhorn Catalyst

The catalyst unlocks the More Wolves perk: the magazine is bigger, and final blows with Wolfpack Rounds spawn a faster, stronger micro-missile at the target's location. More missiles per volley is the upgrade that matters most on a launcher defined by its cluster rounds.

Wolfpack Rounds is the intrinsic of Gjallarhorn: rounds split into tracking micro-missiles when they detonate. Pack Hunter: handling and reload speed rise near allies, and firing grants Wolfpack Rounds to nearby allies who hold a non-exotic Rocket Launcher. The other fixed perks on the weapon are Volatile Launch, Alloy Casing and Short-Action Stock.

Grasp of Avarice is where the catalyst is acquired; its objective counts 400 targets defeated with Gjallarhorn. Progress shows on the catalyst's record in the Exotic Catalysts section of the Triumphs screen.

• Gjallarhorn catalyst, unlocked and delivered to your account, without the masterwork step.
• Extras on the order form: Self-play (Sherpa), Add Catalyst Masterwork and Add Hraesveglur Gjallarhorn Ornament.
• The Difficulty choice has one entry for accounts that already own Gjallarhorn and one for accounts that have not obtained it.

• The Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack, which includes the Grasp of Avarice dungeon.
• Gjallarhorn already unlocked on the account, or the matching Difficulty entry for accounts that do not own it yet.

Is the masterwork part of the lot?

The catalyst is ordered on its own. The masterwork step is the extra named Add Catalyst Masterwork, so tick it if the catalyst should be masterworked as well.

How does Wolfpack Rounds work on Gjallarhorn?

Rounds split into tracking micro-missiles when they detonate.

What finishes the Gjallarhorn catalyst?

Defeat 400 targets with Gjallarhorn.

What is the Hraesveglur Gjallarhorn Ornament?

It is an optional extra named Add Hraesveglur Gjallarhorn Ornament, a cosmetic for the launcher that has no effect on the catalyst. In the game it is a reward from Xûr in Eternity that needs the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack and the triumph The Richest Dead Man Alive.
