How it plays

The Corruption Spreads: the intrinsic, which creates nanite swarms on rapid hits and precision kills.
Parasitism: more damage against enemies the more nanites are attached to them.
Trait column: Outlaw, Rapid Hit, Rewind Rounds or Headseeker.
Catalyst: Disease Vector, which increases nanite damage and makes enemies that die with nanites generate more of them. Update 9.7.0 lowered the bonus at maximum nanite stacks from 4.5x to 4x.

How the mission pays out

Zero Hour was added to Pinnacle Ops in Update 9.7.0, and its Exotic is awarded on completion; the old quest was deprecated. A Master difficulty or higher clear unlocks additional crafting options for the rifle, which the Upgrades of Contagion triumph records. The weapon can also be bought from the Exotic Archive at the Tower.
