Transmutation and Evolution

Transmutation is the intrinsic trait: a final blow with the rifle collapses the victim into a Void Transmutation sphere.

Evolution turns those spheres into tools. You or an ally can pick one up and wield it as a weapon, with a light attack, a suppressing heavy attack and a block that drains nearby targets.

The catalyst adds Deconstruction, a damage bonus after using a Transmutation sphere on powerful combatants or for final blows.

Where to get it

The Monument to Lost Lights kiosk in the Tower sells older Exotic weapons for Exotic Ciphers and Glimmer, and the game data lists this rifle in its Exotic Archive.

The catalyst record says the catalyst is earned by defeating a combatant with the rifle's Transmutation sphere.

The kiosk takes Exotic Ciphers and Glimmer rather than relying on a drop, so the rifle is a purchase from the Archive and not a random reward; Exotic Ciphers are earned in reward tracks.

The stock parts are a Hammer-Forged Rifling barrel, a Particle Repeater battery for stability and a Composite Stock.
