Essence of the Oversoul Farm

The game data describes the Necrochasm catalyst as collecting Essence of the Oversoul from the Crota's End raid and its related triumphs, and says the catalyst is acquired within the raid.

A triumph such as Threatening Reach, which asks you to defeat all Swordbearers in the Oversoul Throne Bridge encounter from the opposite side of the chasm, rewards Essence too.

Necrochasm is a Kinetic Auto Rifle that uses Primary ammo. Its Cursebringer trait makes precision final blows trigger a Cursed Thrall explosion that inflicts corruption, final blows with those explosions refill the magazine, and its Desperation frame raises rate of fire, stability and aim assist after reloading from such a kill.

The Necrochasm catalyst adds One for Thrall: hitting three separate targets raises damage, range, handling and aim assist.

Crota's End is one of the three raids open to every player, and each week it may or may not be among the two featured raids, which changes the tier of the gear its encounters drop.

The raid also holds the Oversoul Edict Pulse Rifle, whose Pattern unlocks by completing Deepsight Resonance extractions on the weapon, as its record states.
